Sleep makes you faster. Research indicates that athletes who get more sleep during training have better reaction time and speed.

Countdown to a winners sleep:
120 minutes before sleep: stop running.
  90 minutes before sleep: turn off TV, computer and smartphone.
  75 minutes before sleep: have a warm and relaxing bath.
  60 minutes before sleep: finish eating.
  30 minutes before sleep: snuggle down and read a book.
    0 minutes before sleep: time to turn out the lights and drift off.
